Bluegreen Wilderness Club at Big Cedar
Property Description
Spectacular bass and trout fishing, stunning scenery, and an abundance of wildlife may be found in a region deep within the Missouri Ozarks. Wilderness ClubTM at Big Cedar® is the place to go if you're looking for a vacation that's as big as the outdoors. Stay in one of our many comfortable studios, one- or two-bedroom lodge suites, or one of our large cabins—ideal for large groups or family reunions!
The Wilderness ClubTM at Big Cedar® is the perfect getaway for families, designed in the style of the magnificent Adirondack wilderness lodges. Sitting on 40 acres of beautiful Table Rock Lake, this resort is located just 10 miles south of Branson, Missouri, the entertainment center of the world. Your days will be filled without ever leaving the resort, thanks to the abundance of activities suitable for all ages and the access to all the amenities of the nearby Big Cedar® Lodge.
The resort's rustic elegance is a reflection of the Ozarks' regional appeal. Each room offers a view of the woods or lake. A 350 square foot terrace with a gas grill, a fireplace, a Jacuzzi tub, homespun area rugs, and high ceilings characterize each of the roomy cabins. Each lodge room has a terrace, a jacuzzi tub (with the exception of studios), wood-planked flooring, furniture made of hickory saplings, and artwork depicting game birds and trophy deer. An inviting fireplace with a split-log mantle is standard in some of the apartments.
A retail store, snack bar, game room, owners' lounge, and activities desk are all part of the 9,000-square-foot clubhouse. The Lazy River, however, is the jewel in the crown. It is an 875-foot water feature that is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and features a waterfall, tunnels, rock grottoes, and a water slide that children will like. The playground, which has a rock climbing wall, is another attraction for children.
Adjacent to Big Cedar® Lodge, the Wilderness Club offers a wide variety of entertainment options and recreational interests, such as boating, fishing, and water skiing on Table Rock Lake. Rent a canoe or paddle boat at the full-service marina and explore its shores. After that, dine at any one of their restaurants—Truman Cafe and Custard, Devil's Pool Restaurant, Uncle Bucks Fish Bowl & Grill—to choose from a variety of cuisines.
